A Shout Out To Ahmyr "Buddah" Dawson

Ahmari "Chi-Chi" Dawson & Ahmyr "Buddah" Dawson - my crown jewelz!!!

Hey Yung World..... Just giving yall my last but certainly not least "Shout Out" of the year 2009 and what better way to close out than w/ my own youth.

Born "Ahmyr Kasim Dawson" -on March 14, 2004- my 1st born weighed in @ 3lbs 14oz (he was a premie). Not sure if ya'll all caught that but my little man's birth date and weight were identical! Co-incidence?? Not hardly... this amazing child was destined 2 be here on this Earth w/ us and it has been pre-determined that he will continue 2 go on and do "all" things great!

Not only does Ahmyr have adult-like reasoning, "tremendously detailed" w/ his picture near-perfect memory, and wear like a size 8-10 in clothing -he is only 5 yrs of age! He is the future of what will be known as the -"Super Scholastic - Multi-Athletic" children. Not only did this lil dude win his very first official basketball game (Shout Out 2 Lucky Shoals Rec Center) -where he had a couple of baskets and 10 or more boards- but he is so so "focused" in school. Ahmyr really takes pride in himself 4 doing well in school -so much so -that not only did this little guy pursue and win: "SUPER STUDENT OF THE WEEK" - but he also obtained & became "STUDENT OF THE MONTH" -4 Demonstrating The Character "Citizenship".

He is me and I am him....... I love U both w/ no limits!

Retrospective: The Woodstock Music and Art Festival

The Woodstock Music and Art Festival was a rock festival held at Max Yasgur's 600 acre (2.4 km²) dairy farm in the rural town of Bethel, New York from August 15 to August 18, 1969. For many, it exemplified the counterculture of the 1960s and the "hippie era". Many of the best-known musicians of the time appeared during the rainy weekend, captured in a successful 1970 movie, Woodstock. Joni Mitchell's song "Woodstock", which memorialized the event, became a major hit for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Though attempts have been made over the years to recreate the festival, the original Woodstock festival of 1969 has proven to be unique and legendary.

A Shout Out to Stephen "Steveo Eeezo" Goosby

Yo wus good Yung World?? So here goes another super "Shout Out" to one of my very 1st partners in rhyme -Stephen Goosby -aka Steve-O-G, aka Steve-O-Eezo, aka Dirty Gooze.

This hip hop lyrical purists and one of the last of the dying breed "Tru Skool" b boys has always maintained his status amongst the hierarchy of elite unsigned MC's. Hailing from (me and Ro's hometown) tha "CHI"- Steve has been writing and producing for many years. Back in our college days Steve and I started a dynamic duo group called "Sol Poets." We recorded a self-titled EP 2gether around 96' and was able to catch the attention of quite a few industry headz. Priority Records was one of the first to actually "officially" take interest.

As of late Steve-O has kept himself busy pumping trax out of his home studio and recording incredible collabo's like "FU2" w/ yours truly and of course "My Place" w/ me -feat. Charlie Rose aka Kimmy Kim. He and I are also currently working on a gang of new shit for my upcoming mixtape "Project Star Scream" -Sure to hit hard real soon! So keep ya eyes and ears open and stay tuned for what we are about to asccomplish w/ this project. Definitely be on the look out for the listening party jump-off and tour dates around the the top of the year during 1st Quarter.

Peace & Luv-

Adero D.
