A Shout Out to BrimStone
Established in 2009 Brimstone is the talented new band blazing the ATL live band scene. Brimstone plays an array of music styles from rock, folk, and hip hop. You can hear some alternative rock as well as a little 80's pop. the band consists of songwriter/guitarist Brad Scott and producer/ songwriter Napoleon Jones along with audio engineer and accomplished musician Scott Beard who holds responsibilities such as drummer, music arrangement, and even stepping up on bass on some shows. Brimstone's versatility & distinguishing factors can be recognized when guitarist Brad plays very intense rock lines to some head jerking drum beats laid down by Scott beard while lead man "Lock" delivers substance filled lyrics with equal intensity and pinpoint accuracy.

Happiness is Momentarily & Difficult to Sustain
I have come to the conclusion that happiness is momentarily & difficult to sustain. It appears that something usually comes along and throws a monkey wrench in the program. What do they call it???? Murphy's law? Catch 22? Example...I betcha (as Palin would say)...when President Obama was elected President he was like WOW "I'm President!!!!" But after he settled in he was like DAMN "I'm President!!!!".I guess that's why Dad always told me that one should find happiness in oneself and not in material and worldly things. But isn't that a person's eternal longing to find happiness from within? I once read a poem that said that life consists of "Days of joy to the years of pain"...which is why it's vital to cherish and relish every moment of your life. I know at times this can be a difficult task, but like everything it takes practice...just remember that the world isn't ours... the universe belongs to the Creator..... and we gotta to sing on brakes they bring us......

Clipse feat. Yeezy: Kinda Like A Big Deal
I kinda like Ye verse on this 1 rt here he spit a lil firepower...
GearZap.com: Everything for your Netbook and Laptop
So I'm checking out sites for our technology piece here on 48Bars and I came across GearZap.com. GearZap, "The only place where you can find everything for your Netbook and Laptop". The site is a specialist online retailer of Netbooks, Notebook Skins, and Laptop accessories. You can also find the exact case for your Netbook, by browsing their range of Netbook accessories and for device specific accessories compatible to your present Netbooks & Laptops. What was cool about the site is that I didn't have any issues with finding the correct size for my Notebook Case. GEARZAP.COM has 8.9" Netbook Cases, 10.2" Netbook Cases, 11" Netbook Cases, 12" Netbook Cases and 13.3" Notebook Cases....how fresh is that?
Check this out...I have an Acer Aspire One Netbook... GEARZAP has the GelaSkins which are are removable covers for protecting and customizing your netbook. I also found the Mugen 7800mAh Extended Battery for Acer Aspire One. GEARZAP has accessories for Acer, Advent, Apple, Asus, Compaq, Dell, Sony and Toshiba just to name a few. I thought that GearZap's blog which gives reviews on essential accessories was very informative . The reviews and comments are cool because you can research products before purchasing it. There is nothing worst to then to buy something then find out the glitches a month after you got it.
GEARZAP blog also keeps you posted on how to install programs which cool, I know at times calling the tech department can be a difficult task. Finally...here is the last but in my opinion the most important gear that I'm going to speak on. Now that everything is “Digital” you have to have “sufficient” memory. GEARZAP has a nice list for your External Drives needs ranging from USB External DVD-ROM and CD-RW Drive to NU Netbook Dock with DVD MultiDrive, HDD & USB Hub. So stop running out to Walmart and go to GEARZAP.COM!

Jordan Crawford 6'4 Guard From Xavier Dunks on King James
Looks like Bron Bron got merked Monday @ his Nike B-Ball camp in Akron.... I heard it was a nasty 2 handed joint too! Oh well... Nike is never gonna release that 1 -they siezed all footage claiming it would be bad press for "King James." I saw his interview on ESPN today tho... he's (Jordan C.) a real humble dude.Ex-teammate: McNair struggled after football

Infrastructure: Part 1 of 3 by Quanstar from Indie Hip Hop 101
Your infrastructure is all about who’s handling your marketing and revenue streams; in other words, the pit crew that makes that engine run. The most important components of this is management, publicity, and booking. They determine how you’re going to get out there, who’s getting your music, where your music should be pushed, and when is the best time to put your music out there. For many independent hip hop artists all these questions are dealt with and answered by one person…you. This in itself is a pretty huge task, especially when adding the time and concentration it takes to write songs. Overwhelmed by these tasks, most artists, including myself, have shopped the market for help to alleviate some of the pressures of the “Do It Yourself” lifestyle; however, in the process of looking for a manager, booking agent, and/or publicist I can probably guarantee that most run across one of these people:
- cats that don’t know what they’re doing and looking to figure it out at your expense
- cats that do know what they’re doing and looking to take you for everything you get

Let the madness in the music get to you... Life aint so bad at all.....
Hey young world?? It's been a ruff one for ya boy and a very sad time in the world of entertainment...but hey we can't give up? Last week was a trying week personally and then I got the news about Michael which got me to thinking, what is happiness? That was rhetorical...I guess if I asked a million people that question I would get a million different answers. With that said I had to go to the spot...MJQ's on Friday night to get some much needed relief.Last Friday was a tribute to MJ & Mr. Jackson spoke to me (after about six Blue Ribbons). When you penetrate through all the bullshit "life anit so bad at all" but keeping focus is a mutha.... In closing my prayers goes out to the Jackson family and like mike said..."We're sendin' out a major love and this is our message to you"..we love you Michael.
