WE MADE HISTORY (Obama DNC)

Can u believe it? Has it sunk in enough? Did this really just happen? Will Barack Obama be our first Black President of these United States of America? Well good people of the "Freedom Ain't so Free World" my guess is without question? He has already made history once- last night at the DNC- becoming the very first ever ... in the history of our great nation ......."AFRICAN AMERICAN" Democratic Presedential Nominee! Yo... how illmatic is this really? Do you know what this means? Do you know what he and this whole movement stands for -not just to Black people- but to other people of color as well? How about the significance of Barack's acceptance speech last night being delivered to this country and the rest of the entire world on the 45th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's monumental "I HAVE A DREAM" speech in Washington. NO Republicans you're absolutely right... that was not by mistake....no kidding!? Listen .......I mean look at it like this....... If you, or anybody else would have told me 5 yrs ago that this country would see a "Black President" in my lifetime I would have seriously laughed in your face as if to say .......there' is no way possible for that to happen! To quote one of my favorite rappers of all time - 2PAC Shakur....from his appropriately titled joint "CHANGES"........"The world ain't ready to see a Black President" is exactly how I would've responded!

Fast-forward our country ......a few wars .....a fucked up ass economy left in complete turmoil ....extreme gas price increases .....increased taxes ......no jobs ....a natural disaster with no relief to help Black people in the N. O.(and surrounding affected areas) .......and a bunch of other false promises- we sat by and watched as Bush and his horrible administration pushed our nation further and further ........."Into The Abyss Of Possible Future Non-Existence" (thas a direct quote of me quoting me......i own the rights to that line -no biting). All of Bush's retarded talk and fucked up policy failures just goes to show you ...that it's true what they say about something GOOD can emerge from something that is Bad and his name is BARACK OBAMA! Out of (8) of the worst years in Presidential history.......and believe me i have seen some pretty bad ones -(i.e. Reagan, Daddy Bush)- I am in complete agreement with my fellow South Sider that "Eight Is Enough!"

In Barack I see history .....I see change ......I see a very charismatic person ...... I see an excellent orator .....I see an extremely intelligent brother who is very focused ....I see ME ..a regular dude who has worked his way up through the ranks of our political structure and made a difference as well as a lasting impression. I see someone who I can better identify with and relate to.

As a result of the tremendous impact Obama has had on his once said to be "fairy-tale campaign"- what do the Republicans and other Obama haters do?.....attack his political record saying shit like Obama hasn't done this long enough.... or he hasn't done that long enough ...... he hasn't been in politics long enough ......that he speaks well but has no real stand on fuel efficiency and national security. Hey you assholes..... what DNC speech were yall listening to? The man was very specific about both... I mean just to get on some real shit right quick- every President in the history of our nation has made 1 false promise or another- whether it was intentional or not. For the ones with intentional false promises and public deception like Bush you can see right through that dude like he was plexi-glass. Obama on the other hand is very sincere and I truley believe that he will hit these problems that plague us head on with every intention of trying to eliminate the problems and find more official solutions to some of these issues we face as a people and as a country!

In conclusion I'd just like to say moving forward..........that there is truely only one man for the job ....they say that he hasn't been around long enough and that his record couldn't possibly be put up against "tha Fossil's" -ooops ..I meant McCain's. Thas that bullshit right there.....who do they think Joe Biden is a person with a couple yrs experience on the job? C'mon Biden's political knowledge and strength coupled with Barack's charisma, determination, intellect, and impeccable wit and demeanor ...oh yeah and he's "Hip" too right? They wanna call him a rock star and shit....whose whinnig now McCain? Yall can only hope to scratch the outer-most layer of a far more superior National Convention like the one we threw last night........CHEERS 2 U BARACK!!! As u lead this nation into November and into this monumental election and ultimate selection as the very FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT EVER!!...............of these UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
